& the Keynotes
Every session can run as a keynote, breakout, or half-day workshop — scaled to your room.
What Members Say, What Members Need & the Gap Between
Everybody lies — even your members. How association professionals can diagnose what members actually need instead of prescribing what they ask for. We'll cover when to listen, when to lead, and when to just put the pill in the peanut butter.
TEAMS & LEADERSHIP
CliftonStrengths & Team Training
Turn individual talent into a shared team language. An interactive working session built on each participant's strengths results from a Certified CliftonStrengths Coach.
I've also used Strengths to create custom frameworks for students & professionals around burnout, decision-making, study habits, and teamwork
TEAMS & LEADERSHIP
Building Resilient Teams
Stress isn't the enemy — the gaps are. Most "resilience training" treats stress like the problem and meditation like the answer. This session takes a sharper look: behind every burned-out team are three specific gaps — in uncertainty, control, and meaning — and most of them can be closed by managers without a wellness budget. Equal parts research, story, and tools your team can use the same week to stop turning ordinary hard weeks into either a badge of honor or a cry for help.
ENGAGEMENT
Going Bananas for Customer/Member Engagement
Borrowing from the Savannah Bananas' Fans First philosophy and adapting it for member-driven organizations, this session reframes engagement as design work. It's grounded in a real case study from the Washington Society of CPAs — taking leadership and staff through the framework, applying it to strategic planning, and rebuilding member and event experiences around it. High energy throughout with lots of ready to use ideas you can act on.
WORK & FOCUS
Productivity for 'Ideas' People
The cruel truth of creative, strategic, and big-picture thinkers: your brain is built to generate ideas, not to ship them. From someone who's been in the trenches and had to build the operating systems to make her own ideas actually move, this session is for the visionaries, ideators, and "scattered" team members who are tired of being told to just be more disciplined. Practical scaffolding, honest stories from the struggle, and tools that work with how your brain works — not against it.
